Families have already been notified of their acceptance into the program.  If you were not accepted, but you turned in your application in June 2018, your name has been put on the waiting list. Unfortunately, the program cannot accept any other families at this time.  For more information, please visit our school office Monday-Friday, between the hours of 9am-3pm.

What is SEL?

SEL, or Social Emotional Learning, focuses on educating the whole child, with an emphasis on character education.  SEL teaches students to be responsible decision-makers, who practice age-appropriate social skills, manage their emotions, and effectively resolve conflicts.

At HPE, we strongly believe that our students are more capable of achieving academic success when they have a solid foundation of character upon which to build.  These skills will travel with them throughout their school years and beyond.
