About Hollywood Park Elementary … Home of the Stars!!

Hollywood Park Elementary School is a small neighborhood school, located in the Hollywood Park neighborhood, between Land Park and South Land Park.  We celebrate the charm that our tight-knit, community school has to offer.  Students in grades Kindergarten-6th Grade participate in a multitude of exciting learning opportunities.  Join us!

As a staff, we are dedicated to your child’s education.  We take pride in providing a well-rounded and rigorous curriculum that includes Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies, Physical Education, Art, and much more.

* Favorite Book = Tal : His Marvelous Adventures With Noom-Zor-Noom by Paul Fenimore Cooper

* A Favorite Movie = “Elf”

* Mrs. VanHeel would love to visit Switzerland, where another favorite movie, ”The Sound of Music“, takes place. She would like to see the beautiful Alp mountains and museums, taste the Swiss chocolates, and hear the famous yodeling.

* Favorite Movie = “The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society”

If Ms. Tacherra could travel anywhere in the world, she would go to Argentina and Chile. She wants to backpack through Patagonia and Tierra del Fuego. She also wants to visit Ushuaia, the most southern point in the world, besides Antarctica.
